Prior to that she was an audit partner with Bay Sherman Craig & Goldstein, LLP. Mythology of Money

Suzanne is also the author of a course about MONEY. The course guides the student to investigate the stories we have about MONEY or the lack of it, and challenges our attitudes and beliefs.

MONEY is one of the ways we measure our success and it affords us the enjoyment of our life, so why don't we talk about it? Instead, some of us abdicate our responsibility to others or just don't deal with it. To some it is considered the "Last Taboo."

In this course, we will talk about religious and psychological aspects of our relationship to MONEY and also the action required to change outmoded attitudes and beliefs. For more information, visit the Mythology of Money website.

Prevent Losses from Fraud

In 1990, Suzanne was preparing financial statements and tax returns for a firm whose controller was tardy in producing documents. Her discovery that he was embezzling money from the firm led to his arrest and the recovery of all of the funds. As a result of that experience, Suzanne was retained to conduct other fraud investigations. She went on to develop fraud prevention methodology that goes beyond internal control evaluation. The methodology deters an employee who is prone to steal; if theft does occur, it makes it likely that the crime will be discovered quickly.
